1975年東京生まれ
2013年より文化庁在外研修員として渡仏。
現在は、パリ南郊外在住。

国内外の展示を中心に活動。
資生堂、花椿Webにて、旬の食べ物をテーマにしたGIFアニメーションコラム「空想ガストロノミー」を連載中。

Makiko Tanaka, artist
born in Tokyo in 1975
Moved to France in 2013 to work on a project under the overseas study program for upcoming artists of the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan.
Currently lives in a southern suburb of Paris.

She has held expositions in various countries.
She is currently woking on the series, “Imaginary Gastronomy,” a GIF animation column that deals with seasonal food ingredients on Shiseido’s Hanatsubaki Web.

Her recent works include the creation of the character “Macaron Baby” of Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama Shop, its animation works and animation for Kitri’s “Ame-agari” on NHK’s Minna-no-uta, among many others.
She has published two books: “La collection gastronomique,” and “VUVU” from Edition/Hehe.

Her exposition “Organdy breath girls” will be held at H.P. FRANCE Window Gallery at the Marunouchi Building(first floor) next to Tokyo Station.
